To qualify as a driving instructor you are required to pass a three part qualification process.
Pass You offers a complete training package for all three parts. Alternatively we can offer each part individually, depending upon your individual requirements. The courses are as follows:
Part 1 - Theory Test
This is a two part test, the first part being a test of your theorectical knowledge, the second part is a test of your hazard perception.
For Part 1, Pass You offer a 5 hour classroom based course. Alternatively, if preferred, a comprehensive home study pack (which includes all publications necessary to prepare for the part 1 test) is offered.
Part 2 - Test of your Driving Ability
For Part 2, you will be required to pass an eyesight test, your driving is then assessed on various roads and a variety of manoeuvres.
Pass You offer a Part 2 training course which includes 10 hours of in car tuition to fully prepare you for the test.
Part 3 - Test of your Instructional Ability
At this level, you are asked to demonstrate your knowledge and ability by giving practical instruction.
The Part 3 training offered by Pass You includes 40 hours of in car tuition, a comprehensive training manual is provided.
Pass You are happy to provide top up training for those trainee instructors who are part way through their training with other driver training companies.
Important Note: Pass You strongly recommend registering with the Driving Standards Agency prior to committing to any instructor training course.
